Cobb tuning for the G37 Sedan

Ok, so as I continue to post about a car I don't even have yet (hey..trying to get the traffic going on this part of the board), I started thinking about ecu's for a bit more hp. Does the quest for more ever end..ofcourse not. Before someone tells me I should be buying a 335i...I want my G...and its fun to tweak a car here and there to make your own.

At any rate, i see that cobb tuning has a flash port device for the G37 coupe. I'd bet that with a bit of interest, they'd do one for the sedan. Heck..the coupe tuning flash might even work for the sedan now. Best part of this (why we should be jealous of domestics) is that it can be done in your driveway like chevy boys have been able to for years. I don't want to dig out my ecu and ship it out of town and have a dead car.

Any thoughts?

The results I've seen for the coupe are very promising.

I'd recommend waiting for Uprev to finish up Osiris.

I've had great experiences with COBB products designed for the Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT (Downpipe and AcessPort). I felt the difference using a stage 1 map but a non-turbo car won't have the same results due to the inability to simply increase boost.

The AccessPort has a lot of additional features such as pulling ECU codes and estimating 0-60 times. The AP is likely to show its potential when used with a modded car.

+1. Wait for Uprev to relase Osiris for VQ35/37HR motors. It'll have end-user tuning capabilities. That way you can adjust/tune it.

Cobb will be offering remote-tunes with their AP as well.

Is there any kind of reliable ETA on Osiris?

Either way...its nice to see options that plug into the port instead of shipping the ecu. I'm excited about it.

Well, not a exact ETA, but they are getting my 07 350Z HR for one week starting on Dec 6th to come out with their HR product. After that it shouldn't be long to be released.
