I have 2008G35xS with 18" factory wheels. Just bought a set of 2006 G35 wheels and new set of winter tires. Started swapping the wheels and realized that the lug nuts on the factory 18s will not work with winter wheels. Factory lug nuts fit flush with the wheel and the end of the lug nut fits into the wheel. The 17" from 2006 G35 have a cone type opening that needs a new lug nut. I need a new set ASAP.

Is there a place like Autozone (I am in Chicago suburbs) where I can buy lug nuts off the shelf without mailorder? If there is, what spec I should look for.

Went to NAPA and got 12x1.25 lug nuts off the shelf ($5.99 for a set of 4). These are a little longer than ones that dealerships sell for almost $5 a piece and ones that NAPA have in their computer that run around $3 each.
Put the wheels on. all good
