Car Color

I'm new to this forum but have been shopping around for a G35X sedanfor the past 5 months. I was wondering what color you guys suggest getting. I am partial to black on black but am open to suggestions. What is the most eye catching? Also, if anyone wants to sell me one because you plan on upgrading to the G37 sedan email me and we can talk. Thanks!

I had an 07 black on black. Now I have a blue but I still love black the most. One question tho have you ever had black car? If not be carefull with this dicision. Black is the sexiest for the guys but really PITA to keep it that way. Nothing gets close to the detailed black G sedan.

Can you tell, I am bias?

I have LP and love it, Top three choices (which happen to be what most of us have) would be Black, White, Silver. Blueslate and Platinum graphite are pretty popular also. I think Garnet Ember is HOTT but not many people have it (could be a plus). So yea, I picked LP b/c it looks clean longer, and mettalics tend to hold up better to the elements. Black looks really nice, but it's a pain to keep looking nice. And IP is hott (2nd choice of color for me). But for some reason, they never "pop". It's hard to make white look as shiny as other colors IMO....

Garnett Ember for the sheer rarity! But I don't think it'd be a bad choice to go black either

Blue Slate FTW. I chose Blue Slate because I wanted a dark color vehicle, and black is a PITA. I have had many black cars and they are beautiful when clean...and that's it...LOL. Plus the black for the G35 seems "flat" to me, whereas the Blue Slate has some metallic in it. Most people comment on the color my car as being dark gray, but when the light hits it the right way, then it shows a hint of blue...hence Blue Slate =)

I'd avoid black at all costs. Just like TG said, it is way too hard to keep clean. I'd go for either LP or IP

Where do you live and what kind of conditions will you be driving in? Hot and dusty... stay away from the dark colors unless you're willing to put in the hours necessary to keep it looking good, and don't mind scalding hot seats. If you want something that stays clean looking longer (and is cooler in hot weather) consider Ivory Pearl, Liquid Platinum, or Desert Platinum.

IP is my favorite. Would have bought that but they didn't have one with the black interior when I purchased mine so I went for the LP as my second. Third would've been red. Black is a no question favorite but the effort to keep clean in my area is a big no-go.

Graphite FTW! I ended up going out onto the lot when I was placing my order and picked the color then. I saw all of them and compared my top choices side by side.
