project kics r40 Neo Chrome lug nuts w stock wheels.
I just got some project kics r40 neo chrome lug nuts for my stock wheels.
on the lug itself it has a P1.25 etched in on it. I already put them on my car and tightened them but havent driven them.
Is it safe to run aftermarket lugs on stock wheels?
Is anyone running aftrmrkt lugs on the oem wheels?
I just dont want my wheel coming loose!
Thanks

Not sure if those are appropriate for the OEM wheels since they look like cone seats. The OEM lug nut is the shank style which has a flat seating surface. The cone might work but it's not designed for the wheel at all. Even McGard website says to go to the dealer for OEM wheel locks since all they sell aftermarket are cone seat stuff. I just took a look at my OEM locks and they are made by McGard. I would recommend getting the correct fit since I would think that they may get loose over time.
My 2 cents.

I got those same lug nuts for my car but I got 20" work wheels, I think you should save them for aftermarket wheels that need those kinds of lug nuts, because OEM use flat faced lug nuts.
