Ok any chipping or pitting on your grill?

I am on my second grill and it looks like I was in a warzone with it after like 1k miles. No paint chipping around the grill just the grill. With my 07 the replacement was good after a 1+year no issue. On my 08 replacement was as bad if not worse than the original.
Most of you guys aware of this anyways.

I might go and ask my dealership to just give me a used one and take it to the a shop to put a chrome plate on it. Not sure which way to go. Don't want to end up with a midnight grill and to have same issue.

So any bad pitting on it or chipping on midnight grills?

I just put over 1000 miles on the car over Christmas of highway and backroad driving in GA and I didn't find any damage as of yet.
