Another accident :(

Argh. Second accident in my '07 G35S now. This car is cursed, I've gone over a decade without an accident before I bought my G, then 12 days after I bought it, it gets rear ended (some of you may remember that from back in 12/06).

Today, heading home from work, someone in the oncoming lane decided to do a u-turn. There was a bus in front of them, stopped to pick up a passenger, so she didn't see me, and I didn't see her, by the time she pulled out in front of me, all I could do was hit the brakes and slide on the ice/snow right into her Front driver side quarter panel and headlight are all f*ed up now. Argh, I wonder how long this will take to fix. Last time it was over 2 months.

Well, it's New Years Eve so I have even more of an excuse to get plastered tonight.

Here's some pics.

I feel for you. I had a teenage girl cause a 5 car accident. We were all stopped on the street and she was goofing around and smashed into a car that smashed into me etc... I was the middle of a 5 car sandwich. I had a 01 I35 which I loved. Still in great shape. My car as totalled (and paid off), so I bit the bullet and took the insurance money and bought a new 08 G35s 6MT....and love it. I was going to the dealer to buy a filter for the 1st oil change and I was stopped at a stop sign and some lady slammed in the back of me. Half of the back bumper is ripped off and the back rear quarter panel is dented. I am so pissed. At work I park far away so I avoid door dings and now it is trashed. To top it all off she has some noname insurance company, so I will get to spend most time fighting. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

zz ... as long as thier a police report your insurance company should be able to handle the other persons no-name insurance company for you if needed. The situation you explained is pretty clear cut. I hope this is a easy done as said, g/l.

OUCH!! just be glad it's not worse! looks like you'll need a New Bumper cover, Headlight, Fender. maybe some small brackets behind. But sorry your G got damaged again! I remeber the Rear ended shots right after you got your G! I would have raged if that happend to my G!! But be glad no one got hurt! your G will be as new. And It's won't take as long to fix this time! since our cars been out for 2yrs now, the OEM parts are easy to get now! Good Luck Bro!
