Looking for lease info and those with Infiniti lease experience.

OK so I am close to pulling trigger on new G37, btu I am considering leasing. I keep hearing that leasing is better since I flip cars often. But best lease rates are 36-39 months. I see some say they lease 36-39 then still trade out at 24 months. What about lease disposition fees and early temmination fees? What kind of expierience does anyone have dealing with Infiniti on a lease and then lease return? Have you foudn your lease expierience to be good? Woudl you lease again? Do you keep it until the end or trade out early?

This is a little bit of a start to lease termination, but not all encompassing. It's pretty difficult to get out of a lease early even 2/3 the way into a lease. You don't really build much "equity" in the lease until the very end. In general, buy out costs tend to be very high compared with the worth of the vehicle at most points in the lease. In addition, with Nissan/Infiniti captive leasing, unless you buy out the total lease early (or get some other entity to buy out the lease), you are essentially responsible for the vehicle and any possible sequela until the lease term ends (for example if you happened to convince someone to take over your lease like on leasetrader.com). It's quite an expensive proposition to get out of a lease early. And this isn't including disposition fees if you terminate early.

There are some people who report that near the end of a lease that they are able to dispose of their cars early without penalty, but what usually happens is that the "money" potentially saved comes out of the new car deal somewhere.

BTW, I think the over mileage fee is 15 cents/mile.

You will ALWAYS loose money when terminating a lease early! The dealer will make sure of that. If they don’t make sure of it then they won’t be in business long!

I terminated a lease two months early and I basically ate two payments. However, my car needed about $1000 worth of repairs(wife playing bumper cars with the curb) so I decided it was worth it.

Bottom Line: If you have to ask “Should I lease a car” then the answer is NO! If you don’t know more about leases than the dealer does they will take you for a ride(Not in a good way).
