Sucks though, the brakes should not be a one time use item. We should be able to brake hard and activate the ABS all day without problems. I would raise issue if they charge you to fix a fuse that blew when it shouldn't have. Actually even more, they need to figure out why the fuse blew in the first place and prevent it from happening again.

I am just going to have it towed to the dealer tomorrow and demand that they fix everything for no cost. i unplugged the brake light fuse and it looks good. I left it out so i dont drain the battery. The acceleration is even weirder. Is there a safety feature that wont let you accelerate if it thinks you are braking at the same time?

That is a really good idea. Seems logical that if a ABS or brake sensor failed somewhere, that the control system for the accelerator would protect the car thinking that your wheels are locking up. Sucks that it is Sunday and the service dept is closed.

I got a little excited in the last post. They haven't tried to charge you yet so you should probably be calm and give them the benifit of the doubt until they say something silly like, "That 'ill be $200 sir."

my guess is your brakes are still engaged even though the brake pedal is back to it's original position.

my thoughts exactly. I just want to make sure the two problems are related. It is snowing here with temps in the single digits/teens, so maybe something is frozen?!?

Check the brake fluid fuses and brake sensor under the petal unplug it plug it back in. disconnect the bat for a few. Do all the basics. the tow is going to be 50 or more. dealer to fix a fuse will be at the very least 75. so 125 for just the basics that you might be able to fix now. Or you might get it there and it be something wrong and it might be under warranty

My dealer should take care of it all for free. At least I am hoping so. This is a very odd problem.

I am listening but its 16 degrees outside, snowing and pitch black. I cant do much right now. maybe in the morning I will try and see if i can figure things out. This car is still new to me....modding cars and fixing them isnt. This one happens to in warranty and still pretty new. I shouldnt have to fix these problems. The dealer should....

call roadside assistance to get them to tow you to the dealer. My dealership never charged me to change fuses.

It also sounds like your G is in 'limp mode', which means power is cut to prevent any further engine damage. A factory trained tech with a Nissan CONSULT system should be able to accurately diagnose what happened and repair it. If you're still under warranty, it shouldn't cost you anything except your time.

Be sure to let us know what the eventual fix was!
