Need replacement door piece

Hey guys, so I just bought my new G, it's a 2007 G35S Sedan in Obsidian Black. It's in fantastic condition except for the driver's side door right around the handle on the inside, the material is chipped or something, here's a pic:

I don't really think it can be repaired, just wondering if anyone knows where I could order a new piece from? I've looked some but I don't really know what "part" that is you know? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest calling Rick instead, as he is VERY busy and it typically takes him a LONG time to get back to you on PM on her.

If you have the dark interior that finger nails will tear that part to piece... funny, though, if you have the light grey (stone) interior, then those pieces don't scratch. Mine still look brand new.

Your other option is to cover them in carbon fiber cloth, like some other guys on here are doing.

Well Rick already got back to me. Had to send him my VIN, he's gunna get back to me. I hope it doesn't happen again. It's strange though, the previous owner was a guy, don't know why it'd be scratched from fingernails, but who knows. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be really conscious of how easily scratched it is.

Glad to got a hold of Rick, he will take good care of you. That reminds me, I need to call him about my GT Spec parts that just came in.

My driver side is the same and so is the trim around the steering wheel.

Let us know the price. I think my dealer wanted 45 for the door and 100 for the steering wheel piece.

My 07 was the same and my 08 is perfect. The 08 has different material on those part. The 07 is silicon type and the 08 is plastic. On my 07 all I did is painted it with Sharpie. LOL Was not as visual as before.

Ya, I just noticed that the piece on the steering wheel is the same way, do you think the material from the '08 would work/look weird in an '07?

Rick quoted me $32.95 shipped for the door trim piece. I'll probably order it in a couple weeks. You should contact him about the steering wheel piece and see how much it is, sounds like it might be cheaper through him than through your dealer.

Yeah, Rick @ Riverside is definitely cheaper than anyone else for OEM dealer parts, just make sure you tell him you are a G35Driver forum member, so he gives you the best discount... or just tell him Adrian from Driver sent you..

Is the new piece more durable or will we end up with the same problem later?
