Switch bezels....

Hi guys. I know that alot of us 2nd Gen guys have alot of issues with the switch bezels and how easily scratched they get. I called Riverside Infiniti(thanks Rick) and picked up a new set. They were only 54 dollars and some change. I thought about simply replacing them for the same color but I thought some black ones would compliment the stone interior well Check it out.

Thanks. Yup, 54 for both of them. I called Infiniti Tustin and they tried to rape me for 96 bucks for both. Called rick and told me 51 plus tax.

This issue is the reason I joined G35Driver

I recently purchased a 2007 G35S sedan. The interior is black and the car is in mint condition.. except for the " switch bezels" on the inside of the door (I didnt know what the part was called so I had no idea how to get my problem fixed). It makes my beautiful car look like crap because they are ALL SCRATCHED UP!!! And they get worse every time someone with long fingernails or a watch or bracelet rides in my car. I have a few questions that I hope can get answered:

1) Every thread regarding this same issue seems to point me in the direction of Riverside Infiniti and a guy named Rick. How do I contact this dealership/person?? Will they ship to Miami, Florida??

2) Is the replacement of the part easy once I recieve it? I had always had crappy cars before this so I never cared to do anything myself...

3) Phil: Do the new ones scratch as easily as the ones you are getting rid of? If not, what is the difference?

I will continue to check this thread every minute of the day until i get a reply. I know it seems like something minimal but the bezel issue is one reason why I am not enjoying my car as much as I should be. I need to get it fixed now!!

Thanks alot guys! Hope to read your responses soon.

You can pm rick. Do a search and you can find him here in this forum. Infiniti realized how easy to scratch and switch over to a harder plastic in mid 08 I think. My 07 had the same like yours. But my 08 is perfect.

You are just like most of us. If it is not perfect we are not happy. You care about your car.

But if I order these from Rick, will I be getting the new "harder plastic" ones that come in the '08 models? Will they fit perfectly?
