08 with stitching for sure, it looks great.

And ditto what was said before - how much?

Contrasting stone looks better with your interior. But the black preforated one would look totally hot in my Black/Black S!

I'd go with the perforated one.

From the looks of it, it looks silver too. It only looks black in one pic

Does anyone have the 08 black/black ****?

HaHaHa! I vote for neither, try the07 to 08 G35 sedan ****. () Both are too big. If I had to pick one the 08 is 100x better. I agree, the 09 reminds me of Teddy Kennedy. That 09 **** must have been hitting the bottle too.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I will go along with the majority of you and have decided to keep the '08 M45 **** with the contrasting stitching. It seems to go better with my stone colored interior and the leather / stitching combination matches my sport steering wheel perfectly.

For those that like the '09 perforated leather ****... I think this **** would look great if you have the perforated graphite colored leather seat in your car. I'll be returning that **** to Riverside Infiniti this week, so Rick will have one in stock if anyone wants one.

Thanks again to everyone for all the input (good, bad, or ugly)!!! LOL

Update:

Almost forgot to mention that each of these ***** is right around $100 from Riverside Infiniti, with the '09 **** being slightly more expensive. You can give Rick at Riverside a call at 1-800-919-8130 and he can give you an exact price. Here's a link to the **** at their eBay store... keep in mind that they give pretty good discounts to G35Driver members, so if you call Rick and tell him Adrian sent you from this forum, then you will get a better price than on their eBay store.

i think both ***** are cool, especially the perforated one, i think the '09 one would look badass in a black car...im even thinking about getting it...only problem with the M ***** is the shape...it looks like it doesn't feel comfortable when in your hand...i really like the shape of our stock shift ****...my right hand is always on the **** so i need something that is comfortable...i just wrapped the silver part of the stock **** with the CF fabric...i did this because i had all sorts of scratches on the silver part of my ****, mainly from the guys who wear rings at the dealership...no big deal tho, i fixed it

i'm redoing the center console area because on all the trim pieces i used a different glue...on the center console i used the 3M spray 77 which kinda sucks to be honest...not only is it a spray can that is messy as ****, but it doesn't stick well enough...for the trim pieces i used this weird orange/yellow-ish glue they had up at XDC...it gets stickier when heated up...and for the corners i used this super glue stuff...you put a dab of the super glue and use this spray to activate it...its great on the corners because you can dab it, activate and pull...if you do it this way the corners will look perfect...anyways ill shutup now

Wow! Looks great, Paul! The CF covered trim looks amazing. I'm gonna use some of that CF cloth in my car too, but I'm gonna leave the aluminum trim, because with my stone interior I like the contrast. I have a few other interior accents that I plan to cover and see how it looks.

FYI... The M45 shift **** is MUCH more comfortable than the factory G35 shift ****... the factory **** is too small IMO, and the M45 **** fits my hand perfectly. Plus, it's a much nicer grade of leather, so it feels so much better to the touch. I love it!!

Definitely get one, Will... You won't regret it. I think the M45 **** is a lot more comfortable than the factory ****, and it matches the G35Ssteering wheel perfectly.

Riverside says there's "slight modifications necessary" to the G35 ****, I remember seeing a writeup about this awhile ago but are there really any "modifications" necessary

Do they offer perforated ones in stone color? I think it'd match up my seats better... maybe.

Yup.. You need to cut a couple of small grooves in the shift lever about an inch higher than the factory grooves. I just removed the factory **** then slip the M45 **** on and marked the position of the slots with a razor blade and then removed the **** and cut a couple of small grooves with a fine tooth drywall saw I have (but I've rear on here before that someone used a serrated steak knife), and then I reinstalled the M45 ****. Once the new groozes are cut, any of the M45 ***** will work, or you can go back to the factory **** as well. Here are a few pics of the install, so you have a better idea of what I mean.

I know... I think a perforated stone leather **** would look great with the perforated stone leather seat inserts on our interiors, but unfortunately Infiniti never made one in stone leather... Rick says they typically stay away from lighter colored leather on the steering wheel and shift ****, due to the getting dirty too easy from dirt and oils on your hands. You could always have your factory **** or the M45 **** custom done.

I like the black leather **** with the stone stitching since it matched our steering wheel perfectly... plus, I plan to have the center seat inserts & door inserts diamond quilted in dark gray suade with stone stitching, so this will help the seats to match the ****. Similar to this:
