Waiting for it to quit blowing sand like the Mojave dessert (had winds gusting to 52 mph yesterday and today), now it's sposed to rain this weekend (we'll take it, we have had 0.00" of rain since Jan 1), so I don't know when I will get to use it.....

^DrColorchip looks OK (in photos) in the Metallic paint of the Lexus but I wonder what the results would look like in a non-metallic paint. I'm very skeptical how well this would work for Black paint or any dark, non-metallic paint for that matter.
It would be great if it really worked.

I'll probably get that, because I've discovered at least 2 chips and 3 scratches that I would like to try and fill. I would guess that a steady hand and patience also would have a lot to do with how it comes out!

sorry, I just haven't found the time to fool with it. Right now, I have a head cold that's killing me and I just don't feel like messing with it.

I was disappointed. I tried to use this product yesterday to cover the chips on my front bumper. Followed the directions by brushing/dabbing on the touch up paint then smearing the paint across the chip with the glove.
I let it dry for several minuets and when applying the blending solution it removed all the paint as well as the paint in the chips. It could have been my incorrect technique but I tried several times with the same result.

How long did you let the paint dry?

I used mine yesterday. I was not impressed. Paint matched fairly well, technique was easy to use, HOWEVER, it DID NOT fill the paint chip level with the surrounding paint. It covered just fine, and the chips are MUCH less noticeable than before, but the repair does NOT "disappear".

One more thing, it does NOT work well when the chip is all the way to the bare metal and there is minor rusting on the surface. Too much of the paint is removed when you "smear" it.
