Stillen Exhaust and BB Grounding Kit!!

Well I had my exhaust put on at the dealership yesterday and I LOVE it. It does have a little bit of drone when you try to slowly accelerate at low RPMs but it doesn't bother me at all. It's so much louder and looks amazing with the huge polished tips and mufflers. Whether it's placebo or not, it also feels a little quicker in the midrange. Was it a worthwhile investment.... most certainly not. But am I going to enjoy it everyday - absolutely!

I'll post up some new pics when I get a chance tonight. I'm waiting on an oil change at the moment, then I'm going to install my BB grounding kit and debadge the G35S.

Updates soon!

West Houston - they're pretty mod-friendly. The guy said they do a Stillen exhaust maybe once a month.

Technically, yes. But in general I don't think they'll say anything unless its an O2 sensor or somethign in the exhaust systme that goes wrong - then that won't be covered. According to the Infiniti 800-number people, if you have it done at a dealership or a dealership recommended place there's less of a problem with warranty issues.

Where in Houston are you? I'd love to hear it in person. Droning is always a deal killer for me... had an exhaust set-up installed in my old ride, but the drone was so bad i had it uninstalled within an hour after i left the shop.

NW Houston. I'm leaving to head back to UT Sunday afternoon so I probably won't have any time. There's a tiny bit of droning/NVH when you try and "slowly" but it doesn't bother me at all and its been going away today (probably driven about 100miles). Cruising home on the highway around 75/80 its not noticeable at all anymore.

I asked my dad if he wanted to see come see it on the car when I was parked in the driveway, his response - "I don't need to see it, I heard you leave this morning" hahahhahaha i love it

I'll for sure have an update after the 2 hour drive back to Austin about droning and cruising. The debadge went successfully and I have a friend helping me with grounding kit tomorrow. I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow while its still clean and get them up

BTW you should actually get a performance boost from the exhaust. One of my cousin's in Dubai owns a 08 G35 sedan, Auto. He raced against his friend with the exact same specs but he also had a Stillen Exhaust, he told me that his friend clearly had like 2 meters in front of him and was pulling away slowly, so it should give you an increase in performance as far as what I've heard.

it does, and the difference is even greater when you get a reflash.
