Touch-Up Paint, Need opinions, Yes or No?
Touch-Up Paint, Need opinions, Yes or No?
Well driving to San Antonio from Houston once every two weeks really does its damage on the factory paint. I was wondering if it is the right path to go out and pay touch up paint from the dealership and use it on the debris chippings and scratches.
There are little line and dot marks on the front bumper and some thin small line scratches on the door. It isn't really noticeable unless you go 1 meter away from it.
Should I go out and buy the touch-up to try and fix these? or just leave it alone

Can never go wrong with touch-up paint. On my old car where I had a fiberglass front that chipped easily, I used a toothpick and dabbed and dotted my chips away with the paint. Just don't apply TOO much where the chips become bumps.
However, I've heard if you use touch-up paint to fill in chips and then get a clear bra, the paint may peel off with the bra if you ever go to remove it.
