i got one of them from infiniti,

they wanted $190 for the maps, **** that.

i can buy a garmin on ebay for $80 with the new maps.

which goes to show the maps are marked up by like 75%

im going to hold off till my warranty is almost up, then take my nave unit out, hook it to 110 AC volts from the wall and fry it. them have them replace the whole thing under warranty, the replacement will have the latest maps.

i can see maybe $50 for the maps and $25 to install them.

but $200 bones is crazy, for an update... i already one a full license.

not to mention they have to charge you for an hours labor. which is 120 bucks at the dealer.... so 190 plus 120=Not worth it IMO.

But if you already bought the maps take it in to get the ECU reflash done and see if they will just do it no charge while it is in there getting reflashed.
