What is the TSB on the heated seats about? What weatherstripping? Is it the rubber around the doors?

The service tech told me that it is a design flaw for using cheap material and that there isn't much I can do other than hope that it doesn't happen again.

I am VERY disappointed with the interior quality of the G. *sigh*
Hmm so technically we can keep going back even after warranty to get it fixed as long as u stay withinh the 12 month service warranty forever

I dont think they would fix it for free if my factory warranty expired.

no they wont but listen to this...if you get it fixed before the factory warranty end you should get a 12 month regular warranty as if your a regular customer. if the dash peels again before the 12 months is over technically you get it fixed under repiar warranty...you can keep doing this over and over if its under 12 months, 12k miles.

we live in CA if theres a known issue or defect they need to find an update or something to fix this not cover it up till factory warranty is over.

its on 07 sedans. basically there is a faulty harness that causes the passenger heated seat to be much hotter than the drivers side. it also makes the Hi and Lo setting feel like there is no difference between the two. I know its summer but i just decided to get it fixed while i had it in.

the weather stripping is around the driver side door, it has come unseated (infiniti doesnt seal it down in the valley with anything) the fix is to put 3m tape in there and seal it down in there.

Thumbs down

So I took my car into the local dealer here in NY and they repaired the warped dash part for me under warranty. However while they were doing the repair they managed to scratch the trim piece on the steering wheel behind the horn/airbag. When I notified the service manager at the dealership I was told that since I could not prove that the damage was caused during the repair that he will not replace the damaged part and will only have someone come and attempt to "patch" or "repair" the cosmetic damage. WTF??

So I called Infiniti consumer affairs and they were all but useless in resolving the issue. Damn, I am just so pissed right now!

No help from them. They basically called the service manager on my behalf but could not get them to budge. After a few complaints to the GM of the dealership and the dealership chain I have been told that if the "fix" they will attempt later this week is not to my liking that they will pursue "other" means to remedy the situation. I guess we'll see.

For anyone that has had this replaced under the warranty, can you do the rest of us a HUGE favor and copy and post your receipt as an attachment so we can take it in to the dealers that are trying to deny the work?????

Thanks!

As long as it is under warranty, make them replace it.
