I would agree that it is real minor (which I am happy about) but I believe it isn't clipped in that corner, and the plastic is what is starting to bow out a bit.

 

After reading this thread, i checked my car and what do you know. same thing.. and mine is doing it on the right side as well!

Im taking it to the dealer in a few months to get this fixed along with all other known issues, i've been waiting to get done at once...

I think it's stupid that this happens.. so what happens after they fix it.. and happens again?

 

Supposedly they are using hardier / more resistant new materials.

 

mine looked exactly like that i pulled at it and made it worse...took it to the dealership and they fixed no questions asked also check by ur the driver side where the radio is connect to the shift boot on the left side had that fixed as well!

 

i got a new steering wheel and a shifter but they stratched my new shifter when installing. im going make them get me the dash lid thing next week too. its going be my second time. i gotta check my bumper and if i see that ill bring that up to.
