Driving over pot holes and it seems as if there is a squeaking rattle noise coming near the driver door and near the sterring wheel cluster..also this happens at high speeds on the highway..its not loud its just really annoying..any one have any ideas or help?

Dealer warranty?

 

I'd say take it to the dealer and have them confirm the issue so they know what to look for. If you're really savvy you could try disassembling yourself, just takes time.

 

these are very very common rattles in the g35... the noise in the door is the result of the bolt that holds your window in place... you can fix this by replacing the bolt with a shorter one.

The cluster/steering wheel housing is rattling.. next time you notice it, hold down your cluster and you will notice it will stop.. not exactly sure how to fix this.

EDIT: I just realized this is the V36 sub forum... these rattles are common in the 1st gen G35s.. im not sure if it applies to the V36.
