Custom LED fog light

LEDs look to be of high quality tho. Also, if there is a way to integrate those LEDs into the Journey bumper, it would look much better IMO. It would actually flow better since there would be much more room for additional LED's in the mesh part of the Journey bumper.
Definitely UNIQUE.

Thanks for the feedback and comments.
As with any mods or design work, the end result is a culmination of ideas, budget, constrains and challenges.
I wanted to add these lights about a year ago, because I thought the car looks kind of plain from the front at night. But I keep on putting it off because the risk factor is high. Due to the fact that the black plastic areas cannot be removed (this plastic cover can be remove on many other car to install an OEM foglight)– meaning that if I screw up, I have to replace the front bumper.
As for the shape, I think hard and long about it, I took many pictures of my car and used Photoshop to digitally put these LEDs on to help me visualize the look. Then I cut tin foil into round shape and temporary glue them on to further help me decide on the best shape. So I tried straight, diagonal, square, triangle, but settled on the curve shape because I think it accentuate the curved headlight.
I bought these LEDs and the lens at a local electronics store. $8 per LED.
LEDs requires the right voltage and current to drive them otherwise they will burn out. There is also heat sink attached to each LED to keep them cool. Heat will also shorten the life of LED.
I string them into groups of 4 since each led requires about 3.1V @100mA. This is the cheapest and most efficient setup without having to resort to expensive constant current driver.
They turn on when the day-time-running light is on.
One poster said it’s useless. These LEDs are actually brighter then the daytime running light foglight, so in addition to visual styling, it act as a DRL.
The bulb in the foglight housing is of the HID imitation type Xenon bulb. Basically it has a blue tint. I bought it at Cartronics in Richmond, BC. It doesn't exactly match the HID, but very close to it. The OEM HID gives out the color of 4100K, I think the foglight bulb is around 3800K.
