I want to but new summer rims for my 07 G35x and was thinking of the following rim:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...7&autoModClar=

I'm not sure if the link will work but it is the 18X8" Xline Energy by Oz with the following details:

Offset: 45mm
Backspacing: 6.29"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Weight: 26.8lbs.

Tirerack recommends a Tire Size of: 225/50-18

Is this a decent rim? Is the tire recomendation what I should stick with? Can anyone make some suggestions of some tire brands and sizes I could look into?

Thanks in advance,
CGY-G35x

A tire size of 225/50-R18 is going to severly limit your tire selection. If you step up to a 245/45-R18 you'll get a lot more choices. You can safely go with 45mm offset 18x8.5" on all four corners.
