Gum on hood
Gum on hood
Well, it appears that my car just doesn't have any good luck.
It seems that someone decided my hood was a good place for their used gum.
I tried taking it off, but there's still a noticeable spot where the gum was. Will Goo Gone take it off? and take it off safely?
Thanks

Well I can tell you what NOT to do. This happened to me back in high school and like a total idiot I just took the rough side of a kitchen sponge to the spot on my hood:0(
it worked great! But it scuffed up the paint real bad and even after polishing and waxing it was very noticeable:0(

Dubi is spot on...
Clean the area as best you can and then use a high quality clay bar to take off any remaining contaminants. Once you have it throughly cleaned, you will need to wax and seal the area again.
You shouldn't need to polish the area unless there is a haze remaining.
