New 07 G35X

I just purchased a 2007 G35X Liquid Platinum and found this forum. I was looking for new tires as the Goodyear oem were really bad. I went though the countless tire threads and finally decided on the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Found some great info here already, next move will be paddle shifters. Anyway I look forward to the going through all the great info on this site. Any info on shops for tint and other work like installing oem rear spoiler or front lip in the Chicago area would be appreciated

im even thinking about getting them for more treadlife as i have heard they still handle very well if not better than the stock bridgstones on the 18" Sports.

Thanks for the welcome all. The Pilot Sport Plus is excellent very quiet and grips great in rain and Michelin had a $70 rebate, with the goodyears I would get the slip indicator I haven't seen it once with these. I'll see what happens in the winter thats why I got the X. I'm going to wait till spring for rims. Next priority are the paddle shifters for some reason I really want to add those. Also discount tires also reconfigured the tpms there, I didn't have to go to the dealer.

Great choice, I would have gotten these Michelins if the price wasn't a consideration. Instead I chose Goodyear GTs, which are much better than RS-As handling, wet and snow traction wise but are noisier.

You can add paddle shifters to a car that doesn't already have them?

hey, check that out. I guess it is possible.

Oh, and I'm okay with the normal stick; I just didn't even realize it was possible on an auto even. Do the paddles work the same as on the S. Will it rev match and such? Is it really that Infiniti just didn't hook them up?

my understanding of it is that they are all prewired by default for it 07+ the diy shows wire harness already there. From reading it and the pictures no known issues. I really need to order the kit from riverside.

It depends on where you live. I just got an 07 G35 3 weeks ago for 30otd from Beshoff Infiniti. Fully loaded (nav, etc), except for tech package (backup cam, icc). I was planning to spend like 28k but man this car had no scratches, rims no curb rash, it was like it was almost new.. it was crazy, couldn't pass up on it. It had like 23k miles on it.

I got my 07 G35S Sedan 6MT from a private party back in April with 25k miles for $26,5k. I'm not sure what option it doesn't have actually. I wasn't even interested in the G at the time. I just took a look and it was in such phenomenal condition, I had to buy it. Of course, a tree has tried its hardes in the past few weeks to remove some of that phenomenon....thank god for Progressive.
