4 Wheel Active Steer

Was/Is that a separate option or was it part of a package, i.e. Sport, Premium, etc..?

it was available in the journey w/ the sport pkg as a seperate package, or the sport 6mt sedans.

Like I said, sport models only. Heck, in 07 there was a sport model with AT option. Nowadays it's known as a journey w/sport pkg. Same difference.

i had to say the proper terminology. there is also a G37x AWD with a sport pkg and people think they can get 4ws and AWD together. but you're on the money calsonic!

Hehe I forgot about the xS. Actually, I wouldn't consider the xS a sport model..it doesn't even even have the bigger brakes and it's still has the 4x4 height springs. It's a wannabe.

okay, so it would be listed as a separate item on the window sticker of an '07?

I don't think I have it then...

Rutland,

If you have the 4-Wheel Active Steer, when you start your car the '4WAS' Warning Light should go on briefly (along with all the other indicators) and then go off.

If you don't see this in the gauge cluster (located in the center just above the LCD display), then it would be safe to assume you don't have it.

Regards,

Sadly, that is the only feature I don't have on my G. I was looking for a fully loaded Prem/Nav/Tech with all the goodies and I was unaware of 4WAS until I purchased. Not a major loss in my opinion but it is something that I wish I had as well.

I have it. I can tell when I am driving the car the way it should be driven It does help keep the rear end better under control.

However, it only moves the rear wheels a few degrees and only activates at speeds over 30ish mph. Downside, just another gadget that can break (and I don't want to know what that would run).
