I just noticed something, but I'm not sure it's supposed to be this way or not:

When my headlights were on, I noticed that the door lock/unlock button on the doorpanel/armrest was lit (as it should be). However, only the "lock" icon was lit, and the "unlock" icon was not lit.

Should both icons on the lock/unlock button be lit, or is only the "lock" icon lit?

 

Just the lock is lit, and that should be all that you need to know where the button is and which way to lock or unlock...

 

I think most of the new model car only have lighted lock button. Maybe cost saving or maybe in a panic situation, easier to find the lock button. But it is normal.

 

Lock button is always lit, its actually lit on most cars not only G 's

 

I noticed the same thing a couple of days ago. Nice to know my car is normal.

 

I remember when I first got my G it drove me crazy trying to figure out if it was supposed to be like that or not. It does make sense if it is done in case of a panic situation.
