Please compare your car to my pics

Hi,
I just recently picked my car up from warranty service, and Inf had to replace the mech steering mechanism as it clunked into place after an adjustment was made.

Upon inspection, I realized that there are 2 areas that don't quite look right. The first is on the left side, turn the left blinker on and look at the boot behind the handle. It looks like they cut mine but I could be wrong. See if yours looks like this picture.

The second complaint is on the steering post itself. It looks like they laid a piece of leather over the post to maybe conceal something. I don't remember this on the car before but I could be wrong.

My third complaint is: I now have a rattle which seems to be coming from the infiniti emblem. Anybody ever remove the emblem centered on the steering wheel? It seems that I'm going to have to drive the 200 miles back to the dealership so they can address these issues, but I'd rather try to fix them myself if I can.
Thank you ahead of time for anybody who looks or comments.

As stated, the pics are not working, but that Infiniti symbol in the center of your steering wheel is your airbag assembly. If it's rattling, it was not installed properly.
I'll need to see the pics to help any further.

He said that the emblem in the center of his wheel has a rattle. We have to fly this one blind until he fixes the pics.

That airbag assembly is held in place by two bolts, which are hidden by two small circular plastic covers in the steering column. They're located at around 4 & 8 o'clock. You'll need a T-30 Tamper proof bit to get them out (assuming you don't have the theft proof bolts installed)
These are easy enough to tighten up yourself... no need to make th 200 mile trek back to the dealer.
Follow the instructions for installing the paddle shifters for close up details on how to deal with these bolts.

Okay, here's mine for you to compare to.

Now I'm going back out to clean her up. Looking at these pics, I see that it's dusty and needs a little conditioner as well.

Looks like they didn't tuck the leather in behind the steering facia. Mine just flap out.
I guess I'll make the 200 mile trek back to infiniti so they can correct the problem.
Thanks for the pics.

... or follow the installation instructions for the Paddles to get an idea of how these parts go on and take a poke at it yourself first.
With that being siad, if your airbag assembly is loose, I'd have them fix it. Who knows what they did wrong.

Honestly, I think it needs to go back in.
I had them fix the rattle coming from the rear deck, and now I have a rattle from the steering wheel.
My wife said the passenger airbag light comes on every once in awhile which they couldn't duplicate. I saw the light come on while my wife was sitting in the seat the other day.
If it was just tucking the leather tabs back in I would attempt the fix myself, but I'm worried about the airbag stuff.

My steering wheel has started a slight movement again on initial startup after the auto adjustments are made so they will have to take it apart again anyway.
