Just an update, took it to the track and was hitting 120mph in the straights. The spoiler is stuck onto the trunk lid for good with just the 3M tape and silicone adhesive. I'm also glad to report that there is no water leak anywhere. *whew*

Hopefully it continues to stay on as the tape a silicone ages.
