i beleive they'll do it one day, maybe not in near future but infiniti will do it some day !
they gotta promote their current G's . . 3.7 is not enough.
there are some competitors out there to be conquered by a monster G !

Don't forget there were also rumors of a G35 Hybrid, with the spankin' torque delivered by the combo gas / electric motors at the low end (IIRC it was 300+), plus 300+ HP on the high-end. I'm in for one of those, screw the V8

 

why wouldn't they do that? BMW, Merc-Benz, Audi, VW all have different engine sizes for their cars. I don't see why they wouldn't but then again, who would buy a $60,000 car for a big 5.0 V8 when you can get the same engine in our car with a better tune and higher revs for I dunno $40,000??? That would be AWESOME!!!!
