Riverside Infiniti

I'm planning on making the 60 mile drive out to Riverside Infiniti next weekend to let them have a crack at fixing a problem on my car that has yet to be resolved by another dealer after numerous attempts. I wanted to get the input from anyone who's had service and repairs performed by Riverside Infiniti and get their opinions on how they were treated and if their matter was resolved with success.

Talk with Tony or Rick, they are members of this forum. As well as Riverside is a sponsor on this site. I have heard many good things about them.

Good luck!

They were very good about checking out my front suspension when the car was making clunking sound.

They covered it under warranty even though it wasn't the suspension AND my car was lowered.

I've never been to riverside but going by the sales and service from tony and rick from riverside for G products over the phone and email has been great and honest.

By the way terry what was the clunking sound if it wasnt the suspension?

Sorry for going a little off topic but if their service dept. is anything like their parts dept. Your in luck. I have delt with all the guys there Rick, Blad, Tony, and Mondo. Wether I was buying something or just asking a question they are always helpful. I live on the east coast and still call them first.

Intercooler pipe hitting the frame. I've just been too lazy to drive all the way out to GTM for this minor issue even though they said they'd take care of it.

I have a lot of experience working with Tony and Rick, as well as the service department. They have been excellent for me. I highly recommend the place.

Is it really a good thing for other Infiniti owners for a non-warranty item to be fixed under warranty by a dealer unless that dealer simply ate the charge?

Their tech that rode along with me thought it was the stock UCAs just like I did. When his fixes did not work, he found the cause of the sound and showed me exactly where it was coming from. I'm sure they would not have touched it if they suspected it was the intercooler piping. I was certainly glad they didn't charge me for "diagnostic" time.

That would be fine as long as they the independant dealer ate the charges instead of passing it on to Infiniti as a charge against the warranty. One would be 'good business' to a valued customer, the other fraud which affects all customers.
