can i upgrade wheels?

i've got an 07 G35X sedan with stock 17" 225/55/R17. I was looking to upgrade to the infiniti G Sport factory wheels 18" 225/50/R18 (front) and 245/45/R18 (rear) that come with the s series. Would I have a problem doing this? Any issues with voiding the warranty? Has anyone tried this? Any input would be fantastic.

Should be no problem. There are people here hat have had, literally, 20 sets of wheels/tires on their car. Just check to see that the wheel tire combo has a rolling circumference that is the close to your stock set-up. That will keep your speedometer from being off. As for warranty, they can't void it for that.

Seems fine to me, as long as the diameters are the same or nearly the same...which they are.

I doubt your warranty will be voided, i bet they cant even tell the difference in wheels. Either way it cant be voided unless the dealership can prove your wheels are what caused the problem of the so-and-so situation.

As long as there is less than a 3% difference in diameter, then you are good to go.

Which in your case your good to go.
