I've always made the mistake of keeping my cars too long: 7+ yrs. Vowed I wouldn't do so with the G. But like many here I just love my G, so may wind up making the same old mistake.

But in the best of all possible worlds: Mercedes AMG 63. Next best possible world: the new Audi S4, wicked reviews and below $50K.

Real world: another G SportMT

I guess the summer toy came first as many of you now know.

A truck is still on the agenda down the road.

Recently paid off wives XC90 which freed up a few hundred. Looking into a truck now. Will be keeping the G ride though.

I kid you not. I just bought my used 2008 G35 sedan and the car before that? A 2002 Kia mini van. Talk about an upgrade! Kids are all grown up and I finally bought a car for me and I'm loving every second of it.

Hard to think about my next car, but if forced to it would probably be the G37 coupe.

Most likely a Lexus IS-F in two years. I'd like to go German but don't trust their reliability.

So true. My friend was debating on the ISF and the M3. His next door neighbor got an M3 (beautiful car!) but.... he started seeing loaner bmw's about once a month. There were no MAJOR issues with the M3 but if you could imagine if it were not under warranty.. and it was a brand new car! The ISF has had no problems except it goes through tires A LOT.

Right now, I'm digging the S4 with the seven speed dsg.

In 2-3 years when I replace the g, there could a lot more options, including a next gen g.
