I like Clarkson's review of the ISF. Funny but brings up some good points, with minimal blatant hating

I plan on giving the G to my kids, but if the right opportunity came along, and E92 mehbey...or a 911 would be the only things to part me from my first purchased "dream car"

I'd like to pick up a new FX next, but we'll see. I've got 11 months left on the lease of the G so I have time to decide.

My next car will very likely be a used 4x4 truck, in about another 24 months. However I "may" pick up some kind of used car as a "summer toy" too.

Nice vehicle. You'll love it I'm sure.

In my case I can no longer justify that kind of $$ for something new.

Deane, we were looking at newer 4x4 trucks (2-3 years old) to replace our other one. You know how I had my heart set on a Frontier, well after looking for a while, they are just too expensive compared to what you can get with a full size domestic 4x4. I got scared away and we are keeping our old GMC for a while longer.

Makes sense Wayne. I totally agree after doing a little looking myself.

I have a loaded '06 Frontier extended cab that is very likely to be available to me at a reasonable price when it's appropriate. I have had general discussions with the present owner whom I know very well. He has been extremely pleased with it and believes it's the best new vehicle he ever owned. With current plans on where we'll be settling it's probably a perfect choice. I don't want to be driving a nice car frequently down a gravel road.

It's in mint condition and I think you have even seen a picture or two of it.

I know exactly the one you are talking about and I love that one. Karen and I took one out exactly the same colour and loaded, an 07 Frontier 4x4 with only 16,000 km on it. This is it : http://www.transcanada.nissan.ca/PreOwnedVehicles/InventorySearchDetail/tabid/16114/poid/572547/language/en-US/Default.aspx

That one you are talking about would be perfect.

^Thanks Wayne.

That's a very nice unit and with incredibly low kms. I think the only difference might be the leather, power heated seats, sunroof, etc. - SE model. Otherwise looks the same. "My" Frontier (LOL) has about 60k on it now particularly because of 4 long distance trips so far out west, florida, texas etc.

We'll see how things work out in the meantime and what the next vehicle will bring. Right now the X is great. I took it out this morning for our inaugural snow test and it passed with flying colours.

G/L with the GMC. It has served you well and will probably be great for a few more years.
