Talking New Member - G35 WOW!

Been lurking on here for about a month. I will be in the market for a new car first quarter of next year. I had my heart set on a 2006-2007 M35 and after driving one fell in love with it, especially the interior. Had enough power for being a "cruiser". From a handling standpoint, it could go through the twisties, but let's be honest...that wasnt what it was made for. Thought I would go drive a 2007 G just for comparison and since they are a little less in price. Had some doubts about the interior but...

All I can say is WOW! When I first pulled out of the dealership and punched it, I was sold. The power is great, love the sound/feel of that VQ. Also, with the sport suspension it handles great and the ride is not too harsh. I used to work at a BMW dealer, so I know what a fun car drives like. The G seems like a great way to get a car that comes very close to the 335 in performace but with the reliability BMW is NOT known for. Plus, I ended up liking the interior alot (although only in black) much better than the current 335.

Anyway, I will be on the hunt for a 2007 G35 S with black interior. Hopefully, I can find black exterior (that combo seems a bit rare?) and nav within the price range I want.

I look forward to sharing pics when I purchase and doing some DIY/Mods here and there...thanks in advance for the info!! I have learned lots so far...Great forum!!!

A lot of people don't know this but with the 3 series the seats are entirely vinyl and the G seats are part vinyl and part leather. And enjoy the double wishbone front suspension over multilink.
