Driver window insanely slow up & down

Is this a common issue? I tried searching a while back and don't remember seeing anything.

It's just getting really annoying now that's it cold and rainy outside and it seems to take a really long time to get the window up (or down) when trying to reach the drive-thru, toll, ticket to garage, etc....

Never had the issue myself, have you tried the window reset method? Roll the window down then roll it up and hold the button for 10-15 seconds.

I never knew you could reset the window, Rutland, I seem to have the same issue!
When it's raining out, it's slow going up and down and squeeks.

I'm going to have to try the reset.

So you roll the window down, bring it back up and keep holding the up button, is that right?

Tint is usually the problem. I had this issue on my camry. You need to clean the inside of the window well, 'invisible glass' works best, and then i applied some rainX on the outside of the window...problem solved.
otherwise, you have a motor on its way out or the alignment/fitment of the glass on the track is off a bit.

Thats how I did it after loosing the auto roll feature for disconnecting the battery. The FAQ however links to this post https://g35driver.com/forums/1841124-post3.html. So try both i guess?

Well, I don't have tint...I don't think, so I'll probably have the motor and alignment checked whenever I get around to bringing it in for an oil change and possible nav update.

same issue on all my tinted windows. Roll all the windows all the way down and clean in between where the window slides up. Should be okay after that.

Has to be a power motor problem. Tint should not affect it and his are not tinted anyway.

I had the exact same issue with my drivers window last winter when the temps dropped. Turned out that all I needed was some grease/lube on the window frames tracks and all was well.

Whatever was there before dried out after 2 years. Try this solution first before suspecting the motor or making a trip to the dealer.

I am actually amazed how strong these motors are. Hope infiniti learned the mistake from the first generations motor/regulator problem.

Wouldn't you need to remove the interior door panelling/trim to get to that?
