Third gen sedan

Does anybody know when the 3rd generation sedan will appear? I have heard MY 2011 and MY 2012. I am thinking about ordering a new 2010 sedan 6MT, but may be willing to hold off until MY 2011 if the thrid gen sedan will be available then. My current daily driver is a first gen 2003 G35 sedan with only 79k on the clock now. It still runs great.

Infiniti doesn't really like to get the car out too early for whatever reason. I usually don't see the new G until Sept. or Oct. When they introduced the G Conv. this summer, they should just label it as 2010 but they didn't.

So, I think the ALL new 2012 won't be out till late 2011.

M is new for 2011, so I doubt they'd refresh the G in the same model year.

Given current trends in fuel economy I bet the 3rd generation will have a smaller engine than the current model.... there's no replacement for displacement.

1st Generation with that kind of mileage, amazing. Keep it until the 3rd generation comes out! Patience will pay off!

With the 1st gen, refresh was '05 & 2nd gen came in '07 (2 years after refresh)

Since the 2010 is a refresh this year,
I'd say 2012 would be the earliest you could expect the 3rd gen.

I'll wait patiently for the G50... and then be mad at myself for making poor financial decisions that have led me to not be able to afford one.
