New car! From Nissan to Infiniti. *it's a project; pics inside*

Update on the progress is on Page "3" "4" "5" and "6"
...Bought a 2007 Infiniti G35S. It's a new project car for me. My previous car or still the one I drive is 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. Also restored my maxima as I plan to restore this one. I came from Maxima.org and loved their community, decided to come here as well after buying my G.

I will need a good sourse of some parts, maybe you guys can help me out where I can get them or whom to call.

Well here's what I got... it's time to get it fixed!

The oil pan got smashed, will need to buy and fix that first.

Also that front aluminum lower brace is bent, kinda hard to see it in this pic, but I'll need that changed as well.

and here is a pic of what I have right now as a daily driver.

subscribed. I love threads like these. do you have a parts list of what you need?
Riverside Infiniti carries all the OEM parts you need and for good $$ too.
Are you simply restoring it or modding it while you go?
One more thing, is the bent lower brace welded or bolted? I see a weld seam but I also see a big bolt...

Both cars look sweet.

Looks like fenders hood and bumper, and adjacent reinforcements/padding. In one pic the windshield looks smashed, or is that just a reflection?

Awsome! Congrads on the G. I also look forward to seeing your progress. I wish I had the time and ambition to do something like this. Ya, how much did you get it for? Max looks real classy.

Wow, a Sport 5AT without the premium package - surprising.

Good luck with the rebuild! make sure to go with the sport bumper. But in all honestly - this could be a good opportunity for a '10 facelift. Check out the new 2010 model and see if you like that better - I like the new non-sport but hate the sport. I bet those parts will fit on there. That'd be really interesting to see!
