lowering?

I am going to lower my car but i dont want tirewear so should i get coilovers or just springs? its the first time

coils will give you the ability to "slam" your ride very low - if you choose to go that route - you will likely see increased and uneven wear unless you get a camber kit, and even then you still may not get even wear...
A mild drop will limit the amount of camber wear you would see.
I have coilovers and when i was all the way down, i went through tires extremely quickly, even with my rear camber kit... i have since raised the car up a bit and with my car aligned i get pretty even wear now

yeah from the little information you've provided - i'd say springs may be your best bet - give it a nice stance without being soo low you have to do other suspension modifications..
It will affect the handling - but in a positive way - it will give it a more sporting feel
