Part Throttle Runs - VDC and Slip lights pop up

So my can runs fine (2008 G35X), but the last 2-3 weeks, anytime I do a run of about 1/2-3/4 throttle through 1-2 gears (dry pavement, no slip), the brake light will light up for a split second, then the VDC and slip lights stay on for good. No other lights pop up.

Once you restart the car, they go away.

Tire are new, all the same size/inflation. Brake fluid is dead smack in the middle between max and min (right on the plastic lip in the MC). New drivetrain fluids 2 months ago. When slip occurs (winter) or I get a bit sideways, VDC comes on and works fine, slip lights come and go like normal.

The manual says when that happens, it's basically a system malfunction - but it's odd how it only happens under throttle, going straight on dry pavement.

I searched for similar threads, but not really any answers. Most people said brake fluid or they had SES lights on. My brake fluid is far from near the minimum. Brake pads have a lot of life left in them. No SES lights or ABS light pops up.

Edit:
More searching seems to lead that brake fluid, even at half way, could still be the problem. I'll try that. Sorry for a wasted thread.

seems like you figured it out, and I've read this many times and it's almost ALWAYS the brake fluid. Throw some in there and see if it goes away...let us know.

Brake fluid will stop the warnings, but those warnings are telling you something more.
It's telling you that your pads are showing signs of wear... the reason you're low on fluid to begin with.

^whs.
It would be a good idea to check the pad thickness.

Why would new brake pads be expensive? I ordered from Riverside, changed them myself, and spent <$100...?

if you begin to have some hesitation, spitting, and sputtering.....check your plugs that go to the intake/exhaust camshaft position sensors. four black plugs in total, two per valve cover closest to the firewall.

mine started as what you describe and eventually turned into a nightmare that would completely kill all power and sometimes cut the car off under half-full throttle only. found it to be bad connections at those points. I replaced all the plugs and solved the issue after MUCH troubleshooting.

Oh, and due to the numerous times it would spit and sputter, it delivered some quantities of unburnt fuel to the catalytic converters, that of course breaks up ceramic and those are bad now. resonated test pipes for tax return please
