Just go my car home from being repaired. Very happy with all work except for the fixing of the cracked leather on the side of the driver seat. Not happy with that repair at all. In fact it looks worst.{it really does} Also still no sign of the illuminated kick plates and splash guards that was included in my purchasing of the car. I asked the service guy about the illuminated kick plates and splash guards when I took my car in on Monday and he took note of it.

So now we will see. I'd be pissed except I just retired so this is giving something to do.
I think that's one of the reason why it makes sense to sign after the fix. If they don't fix it right you can just walk away from a deal. In this case you have to deal with it till you are satisfied. Money plays a big rule how well they do especially if they told you they only fix it after 30 days.

I assumed they meant the 30 day used car warr either wouldn't or be harder to use for the stuff to get fixed vs the reg car warr.

Well cerritos infiniti said in an e-mail quote, I found out today the kickplates will not work on your vehicle. Well it is written in my contract as part of the deal. Who is BS who?

One way or another they still owe you the illuminated kick plates (or cash value). If they won't install them for you then get the parts. You could get someone to install them for you or sell them on Driver for a quick profit.
This dealership seems pretty lame. Call Riverside Infiniti and ask them if the kickplates will work on your car.

With the holes it sounds like there was a smoker in the car previously. They can be corrected to a point by a skilled re conditioner.

Holes were fixed and steering wheel replaced. Drivers seat was fixed but that made it worst. Splash guards and illuminated kick plates were written in the contract as add ons before I paid for the car. Now all they are saying is nothing about the drivers seat except that's all they can do, no illuminated kick plates work on my car so just come in and we will do the splash guards and be happy with that.

Your dealer is lying to you or they are ignorant to the fact that there are JDM illuminated kick plates for the 07+ sedans
Here is a link to the JDM SKYLINE/G35 kick plates for the 07+ sedan

Here is a link to the thread here on Driver showing forum members who have installed them, by themselves, in under an hour. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...plates-11.html

Now you know why I said it at the start. Get it fixed before you sign. This is a prime example.

The illuminated plates are a DIRECT fit in the 07/08 G35 Sedan models without ANY modifications, it is plug and play. The install instructions are even made for these cars.

They are trying to trick you, go in with some confidence and print out or show them this website where people have gotten the plates installed by dealers on their 07/08's. I installed mine within an hour and i was being over careful.

Dont back down!

Got a call from Infiniti consumer affairs. She said it's not that they don't make the illuminated kick plates but right now there is a problem with the one's being made and until that is fixed they are not using them right now but they will be available soon. The dealer never said any of that. Told her of the repair to my seat that I'm not happy with. She asked who I had been dealing with. Told her the head service advisor and the salesman that sold me the car. She said the advisor should know about the problems with the plates. She said she would get with them and get back to me next week. My wife thinks I shouldn't have got a hold of C affairs.

Another call from Infiniti CA and she said she is having a had time getting an answer from them but will keep trying and will call me on Friday. I have no idea what is going on at Cerritos Infiniti. All this for something that was written in the buying contract and getting a seat fixed under warr right.
