Which Interior is Better? 2003-06 VS 07-08?

I'm thinking of getting a G35 solely on the updated interior (panels etc.).

Which do you guys prefer? Why?

I figure the 03-06 model's interior is nice since you have the navigation and the radio separately and don't have to switch around. But, the 07-09 model's look more flush.

What do you think?

IMO the updated HR engine should be a MUCH bigger factor than the interior, but either way I'd much rather prefer the updated interior.

Is this question for real? Have you done a SEARCH for other interior comparison threads? I'll give you a hint, the 2-3 that I remember all got locked because its just such a stupid question.

I couldnt disagree anymore. You will not notice a single difference with the HR motor. Yet the interior is a night and day difference.

Definatly go with the newer interior, it is very nice. The prior gens just look dated.

You couldn't disagree anymore that there is no difference between power DE vs HR? 03-06 vs 07+ g35? IBTL

No difference with the HR motor???? so you didnt notice the 40 extra HP or higher redline??

I would like to know why you feel there is no difference.

Also if you drive them back to back i guarantee you will feel the difference in power output refinement and power.

Haha how can you guys say this is a bad thread when there are such different results? That's the beauty of the forum.. some people like the old one, and some people like the new one, which is exactly what I was looking for. It looks like the new interior + extra HP are better than the older models.

That's true, everyone has their opinions and the interior is something that can be very subjective. But, there's no way you can possibly prefer the older DE engine compared to the new HR engine, which in this case should make/break the decision.
