I have some bigger numbers for you.
In the USA, in February 2010, light vehicle sales (cars & pickups) exceeded 780,000 units. Keep in mind it's a slow economy and I don't think that February is the top selling month for anyone but I will admit I can't back it up. It's a guess.
The JDP survey states it generally assumes the people polled are those who have based their comments on cars they own that are still under warranty (the people that will use a dealership for service) I estimate that in the past 4 years (avg warranty period) that is 37,440,000 vehicles sold in the USA.
JDP surveyed 0.30% of the car owners which BTW, is a small number. You could double it to 0.60% if each person bought and owns 2 of the cars sold.
Polls suck! We should find out for ourselves and form our own opinions.

A third of a percentage point is a large amount of people when you're talking about populations of people. If you wanted to poll american opinion on an issue a third of a percentage point would constitute a million people. That far exceeds what major polling providers feel is needed to acquire an accurate poll. Would you trust a poll that polled one million americans about american opinion on an issue? I would. That's a very large portion of the population that would be reflective of opinion. All the presidential polls during the previous presidential election polled under a hundred thousand respondents.

Infiniti of Nashville has always taken good care of me, especially on the TSB fixes; make an appointment, get yer loaner, they call you when it's ready, etc. In and out in 5 minutes, sweet.

My Infiniti dealerhship has been exceptional with their customer service!!! I've owned Hondas/Acura and while I have no complaint about the service I received from them over 12 years on all 4 cars, Infiniti service has been just as good if not better!

I haven't had to deal with an infiniti dealership yet but I can tell you that Lexus service is top notch even if you are paying out the a$$ for it. I brought in my 15 year old SC and I still got an 09 ES as a loaner. They also gave me a 150 dollars worth of free work. Cant complain. (Lexus of Wayzata, stay away from Lexus of Maplewood. They will rip you off the best they know how.)
