it really depends on where your are going with your car. i think blue/ gold would be pretty sweet looking on yours with blue being #1.

this will give you a good idea of what your car/ brakes would look like if you powdercoated it red

I dunno the red doesn't really appeal to me for some weird reason , I'm not convinced on the blue (maybe because I haven't seen one on an IP yet) and I'm leaning toward the Yellow, I have these pics below, I forgot who they belong to but it's a member on here so hope you don't mind me posting who ever you are, and if you see this thread please post more close up pics

But Yellow is hard to pull off and I need to keep 'em clean

and then earlier on today I saw the pic below and went back a whole 180 and now I'm thinking it might look alright staying silver , I mean it's an IP with black rims same as mine, but he's got slightly darker shinier black rims, but it looks alright I dunno what do u guys think?

Sometimes i think to my self the same thing, why not stay OEM color with OEM logo, i can paint them later, but if you want to paint them and put the Akebono logo for show off that's another story, i mean if someone saw the clipers they'll say "OEM stuff", but if you paint it and put the Akebono logo they'll say "oooh nice stuff, his car must be fast to get some racing BBK on it", just my POV, i might stay OEM, and if i want to paint them i might go for Candy blue color.

^ that looks awesome! I'm starting to like the color... although it's a bit too much "bling" for me.

Thanks for the praise, the sanding didn't take too long, i did it while cooking dinner... so an hour at most maybe? I was trying to install it this weekend but something else came up. I'm shooting for next Saturday now. As a consolation, at least the rotors are now soaked with PB Blaster. <g>

man I'm just annoyed at myself for shipping the brakes over here so quickly, I should have sent it over to mike or someone to do the PC before I ship it. Now I'll have to try and find a decent painter here....I've got someone in mind I've just never tried them out so I hope they do the paint job right.

Thanks for the help guys, even though I'm still not sure on what to get, soo many choices so little time (at least with my impatience)
