HID Lighting Questions.
I may be taking the whole there is no such thing as a stupid question thing a bit to far, but I'm sure there are many nice people here to help a fellow noob out.
I just like being sure that I'm correct before I buy certain parts. So the Infiniti 08 sedan comes with stock 4300k HIDs. So if I just wanted to get brighter lights.. would most recommend 6000k? or even higher? How much do you think they would actually cost for a pair?
And for the fog lights if I wanted them to match my headlights, I need to get a different type of bulb for fogs? how would I go about doing that..
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

^ +1 like he said higher K you get the lower light output, i recommend 6K it is very popular and reduced light output is not that noticeable at all. As for the fogs if you want to match the headlights then changing bulbs wont do the trick, just search on here for "HID fogs" and you should get a few threads on what you need to order to get your fogs and headlights to match.
Pretty much need a HID fog kit to replace the oem bulbs, the threads will help you with various options and install tips.

so the for the headlights I just buy the d2s bulbs and just replace the existing ones?
and for the fog lights, I need to get an HID kit because the oem fog lights are halogen?
as I was looking through a few threads, I found a post on Höen xenonmatch lights? do you think those would be more cost-effective and less labor then the hid kit. I know they're cheaper but would they be alright in your opinions.. Thanks!

I have the Hoen's and they match ok. Short of getting a real HID kit for the fogs its the closest, cheapest thing out there.

^ Yes its just remove and replace but getting to it can be a pita, just be patient, for the headlight bulbs you will have to go through the wheel wells by pull the wheel liner and the fogs can be accessed form the engine bay by removing the intake boxes(Just 1 bolt on each intake and pull out.)
Its really easy but can be tedious if you get impatient...

No, they are genuine Philips Ultinon 6000k D2S HID capsules. Do a search on seller Integra9006hid (top-rated seller, 99.9% positive feedback). He regularly has them for $150/shipped, but occasionally (for whatever reason) starts an auction at $99/pair. I won at $120. Free shipping. Seems like cheap bulbs are epoxied right to the base. These are OE quality with metal standoffs. The light is not pure white but has a blueish/purplish hue.
