paddle shifters loose

hmm normally we use the right shifter more than the left in my opinion, but anyone notice that the right side one is a bit looser if you wiggle it? i kinda too the cover off and noticed that the movement from the shifter part is not adjustable with a screw of any sort.

anyone else notice this on their S models?

There is a very (very) minor wiggle in the paddle's hinge but it is ever so slight.
Are you saying that yours has increased with usage?

I was going to suggest pulling the wheel or covers to see if the nuts were loose but if the excessive play is in the hinge itself, maybe you just wore them out? LOL

Worse case scenario, pick up a new set from Rick and throw them in.

To answer your question though, no, I dont have excessive play in mine but I dont use them all the time either.

Another member said his dealer was able to tighten them, my dealer told me there are no adjustments, so...? But if it's excessive, are you still under warranty?

My right shifter is a bit more loose than the left, maybe that's normal. It has not increased with mileage.

u can retighten the nuts that hold the shifter to the vehicle but no nuts to retighten where the hinges are. the movement is from the hinge...i guess its normal for wear since we use the right side more often
