from Stillen Gen 1 back to stock
so i took off my stillen gen 1, and put my stock intake system back.
obviously the growl is gone, but seems to be smoother shifts... idk probably the sound that im used too.
is it me or does it rev up faster with my stock stuff?
ne ways im waiting to get my Gen 3, sold my gen 1.

LOL guys, didn't you know, that every aftermarket intake will change the AFR so the car will loose torque at 2000-4000 RPM and will gain hp at 5000+ RPM. So, if you drive at 5000+ RPM all day long - aftermarket intakes are for you! And if you don't and drive it sometimes at mid RPM's - stock intake is better.
p.s. source is myg37.com, tons of such posts there...
p.p.s. aftermarket tune can change it (uprev, cobb's, etc.), so you won't loose torque at mid rpm's.

i felt like the short ram robbed hp.
side note: DC Sports had an exhaust for my previous civic that robbed hp.
the dyno sheet they provided proved it too... crazy

^ Check this out. Dyno numbers on the Stillen Gen 3 from one of the guys on my37.com. According to the dynochart, the gains are pretty ridiculous for just an intake.
