clear bra tough to install

So I bought a 3m clear bra precut kit from ebay. As expected, the bumper and headlights are difficult to install. The kit had 2 pieces for each headlight. I tried to install the left headlight cover, but I eventually had to give up. It wasn't coming together right, and the bra lost adhesive after I pulled it off a few times. I'll buy some more material and try again. Is it easier to do the headlight with a bulk strip and then trim the edges? Or, should I try again with the precut design?

Much easier to get it professionally installed along with a quality job.
If they screw up, they fix it with their dollar.

Good news. I tried the passenger headlight, and I finally figured out the technique. It worked this time. I kept a copy of the pattern. So I'll order a small strip of 3m film, cut the pattern, and install the driver headlight.

Glad to read that you figured it out, I'm bad at applying adhesive stuff so I wouldn't even attempt this.

You are learning what I did years ago, trying to install a clear bra yourself is a PITA and not worth it. I almost guarantee you'll F it up.

definitely a tough DIY
I do a LOT of my own installs, but I wouldn't even consider doing clear bra.

clear bras are not that hard to do............. just need some good glass cleaner and a heat gun or a hair dryer.......... when u got the glass cleaner on the clear bra you should be able to move it around as needed and then just heat it up a bit when its in the postion you want
