Engine oil Question ??

Engine oil Question ??
i use Motul 8100 5w-40 is that ok the Orginal said it recomand 5w-30 ??

i know 5w-40 is for euro car and 5w-30 is for *** !

IMO i would stick to Mobile1 full synthetic 5w-30

so motul 5w-40 will it hurt G engine ??

what are your goals for running a heavier oil? Are you in an extremely hot environment or have a leak or something?

typically a heavier oil in cold weather will not flow as well. IMO, I would stay with the 5w-30...or even better go with a 0w-30 (this will be helpful during your cold start ups).
