That's great! But I'm sure just like with every other OEM performance brand, the aftermarket will always be the better choice with price being the main factor.

it means what it means. Infiniti is coming out with a Performance Line for it's cars (such as Nismo for Nissan) which would hopefully include parts like full bolt ons, suspension, chassis, body parts, etc. This would also mean that there is a big possibility for Infiniti to come out with a performance division (like M and AMG for BMW and Merc.) which as the quote says may include factory FI'ed performance cars (assuming the Turbo and SC part is true)

I was wondering if Infiniti's roadmap involves coming out with a performance division. We need atleast a M3 killer

'.....turbo chargers and super chargers" this makes me very happy lol, but i fear for the worst when it comes to pricing...i heard from a friend that he went to a stealership and they quoted him $875 to install stillen first gen short ram and to "cover" it under warranty..so if i were to guess it will be 1 1/2 times what the part is normally worth. But on the other hand having my g turbo'd and covered under warranty, well that would be a dream come true!

True, but it's nice to know that they dealership will install them. I felt more comfortable dropping my car on Eibachs after seeing that the dealer does it there as well. I didn't want the dealer doing the work because the prices were just too high, but I felt good knowing that they condone it. Less chance of warrany complications down the road.

I don't know... I think Infiniti could do better here.
Nothing here that make's me over excited. (yet)

Hmmm.... Infiniti performance division....VERY NICE. Nissan is known in japan as THE sports car maker anyways. It will be interesting to see some dedicated sports car from infiniti!

Give it some time. They are testing the waters with the IPL coupe, which is Infiniti's response to the 335is sport version. Infiniti WILL come out with a performance division but they need time. They still don't have a flagship car yet, and once sales with the G25 take off, they will hopefully offer more performance vehicles.

I'm guessing their parts would not invalidate your warranty like some aftermarket stuff
