Wheel question
Wheel question
Hey guys,
We recently traded in my 04 g35c for a gtr, and now im driving an 07 g35x.
I have a set of rims and tires from my coupe that I was wondering if I could run on the sedan?
The specs are 19x8.5F (245/35) 19x9.5R (275/35) nitto neogens.
Now I have heard mixed reviews, some say it can be done, others say it can't. I own the car outright and am not interested in "finding out later" if you know what I mean. Any info is helpful, though id appreciate an explanation to why it may damage my car due to awd and so forth if that is your belief.
Thanks guys!

You can run a staggered setup on an X as long as the tires all have the same outside diameter. Otherwise, it's not recommended.
To explain it briefly, the AWD system in the G's requires all 4 wheels to turn at the same speed. Otherwise, damage can be done to the AWD system.
With these tire sizes, the rears are almost an inch larger than the fronts, so I wouldn't recommend it.
245/35/19
Sidewall: 3.4"
Diameter: 25.8"
275/35/19
Sidewall: 3.8"
Diameter: 26.6"
Here's a pretty usefull tire calculator tool.
