Road Force Balance @ Infiniti

Hey Guys,

anyone ever done road force balancing at the dealership?
(specifically one in Danvers, MA)?

if so, how much did it cost, and did they do a good job?

I just recently had an alignment and balance done on my car at TownFair Tire.
I think they got my steering wheel straight...that's about it...

Since then, I've brought back the car to them to rebalance 3 times!!
all 3 times, they did not get it right. except maybe the 3rd time....almost.
On this 3rd time, they managed to get vibration down to a minimal when i'm at high speed (65+mph)...but now low speeds (20-35mph), there is noticeable vibration...unlike before... and they claimed they did a road force balance on the Hunter GSP9600... (i think the newest one is Hunter GSP9700 which infiniti does have).

Now i'm considering just bringing it to infiniti dealership to get it done right...hopefully.... uuugh.

so anyone have any EXP with road force balancing at infiniti dealerships?

Find a Discount Tire in your area and have them do it. They will do a computer ride match, which is road forcing the wheel and tire package but also turning the tire if needed to bring the road force down to spec. They could have road forced it but if the road force came up high and they didn't turn the tire than they didn't do anything. They also could have just used the road force Balancer and not really road forced them.

Road force balancing at an alignment shop fixed my vibration issues after multiple trips back to the tire store. I think I paid $25 a tire at a small independent shop, so that price isn't too bad for a dealership. As long as there isn't anything wrong with your tires (shifted belt, flatspotting) then a good balance should correct the issue.

I called my dealer I get serviced at and they said they don't touch aftermarket wheels, so I called the local firestone and had it done for $80 + tax. Turns out the road force balance found out that one of my front tires is defective and that's whats causing all of the vibrations.

yeah....i went to infiniti and they wanted $160 to balance all four tires...and another $40/tire to de-bead and match force mount (up to $320 for 4 tires!!!)... i took my keys and walked right out the door... Got all 4 tires done at indie shop for $99. I made them balance twice cuz it still vibrated after the first time. and STILL VIBRATES...so i'm like WTF!!! so i took all four wheels off and stared at all the components, suspension, tierods, looseness, excess play in the wheels, etc... and i couldn't find anything wrong. So I put the wheels back on and made sure the wheels were flush against the rotors...tightened up all the lugnuts, and ....NO MORE VIBRATIONS!! after throwing some $$ around here and there for unnecessary balances, it turned out to be a mismount... :/
