**NEED ADVICE ASAP** Is this fraud?

Ok, guys..

I need your help fellas.
I listed my brand new OEM 07+ sedan spoiler on Orange County Craigslist b/c I didn't have much luck on the forum.

LINK TO THE CRAIGSLIST AD

As soon as I listed the ad, I get a response from this guy.
Looked kinda fishy to me, so I wanted to get your advice.
Should I send him the info? or just move on?
I got the feeling this couldn've just been an automated response.

Anyway, here is the email I received..

I'd give him a work address rather than your home.

no phone number= not serious.

im 99% sure its a scam, they make it fake. it clears up front you sent it, then 2 months later it bounces and your screwed.

if you ship it mine as well throw it in the garbage, and not lose money on shipping costs.

it will take time to sell playa,

it's fraud. Just google that whole repsonse. The "check" or "money order" and the "have someone pick it up" gives it away.

here's one result of googling...

Thanks guys. I figured something didn't sound right. I responded to the guy and gave him my number to call me if he's serious about it.

Thanks again for the quick responses.

You'll probably get 10 others just like that one... there are so many scammers on that website, it's crazy. Post up an iphone or laptop FS ad and see how much scammer BS you get back. It's almost laughable.

All he needs is your email and he can paypal. Never get mixed up in western union, money transfers, certified check scams.

basically the check will bounce and you will owe the bank money and the person will enjoy selling your item for a profit.
